Resume

With many years of experience across industry, academia, and research, my goal and ambition is to improve people's lives through engineering, technology, research and effective management. I have a passion for the interaction between humans and technology, and how engineering can improve and save lives. My primary industry and research interests lie within medical devices, biomedical, automotive and aerospace industries.

I am chartered mechanical engineer with extensive research and industrial experience. I have previously worked at The Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, one of the top 10 biomedical research centres in the world. I collaborated with companies at the forefront of medical technologies (DePuy, Simulation Solutions). My projects have been funded by MeDe Innovation, EPSRC and BBSRC to bring solutions healthcare challenges. I have delivered to major customers such as Rolls Royce, Goodrich, Olympus Japan and Hikma.

- Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering: I have extensive knowledge and experience of computational and experimental methods and applications in engineering. I have direct experience and successes in design, analysis, manufacturing and testing.
- Project management and leadership: I have been responsible for planning, managing and completing projects along with managing people and teams.
- Quality management: I have knowledge of ISO quality management systems including ISO 9001 along with other ASTM and ISO standards within industry and academia.
- Research and development: Completed and delivered world-class research to contribute to knowledge and solve complex problems.
